Growing Forum Cookies: flowering time, yield and breeder specs

The Forum cut exists only as clones: SeedFinder gives it about 67 days of flowering, and a strain guide from Prime Cuts Nursery, a clone nursery that does not list the cut on its menu, 9–10 weeks.1,2 Seeds sold as Girl Scout Cookies are separate versions that sellers list at 55–63 days to 9–10 weeks, and Leafly rates GSC moderately difficult to grow.3,4,5,6

Seed-company figures are the sellers’ own claims; Prime Cuts Nursery’s come from a strain guide, not from a cut it sells; and seeds are not the Forum cut itself.

What the plant is like

Expect dense buds that often show purple: Leafly describes the Forum cut’s buds as dense, purple and covered in trichomes, AllBud as lumpy forest-green nugs with dark amber hairs, and Leafly’s GSC grow notes as green and purple with fiery orange hairs.6,10,11 Accounts of size differ: Leafly says GSC trains well as a multi-branched plant or in a sea of green, Weedmaps’ description says it stays relatively short while its grow notes say it wants to grow tall, and White Label’s seed version reaches about 100–125 cm indoors.5,6,8

What to watch for

Feeding and smell. Jigga told High Times that GSC needs a little more attention, has a higher threshold for nutrients and has an odor that will go through a brand-new filter, while Leafly’s grow notes say it prefers moderate amounts of fertilizer.6,12 Prime Cuts Nursery’s guide says the Forum cut has no unusual resistance profile, so standard preventive pest management applies, and AllBud says GSC can be difficult to grow.2,13

Seeds and the law in the US

Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.14 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.15 Home cultivation rules are set by each state.
